About

Fassifern Cricket has a proud history of over a hundred years. We are the custodian of Fassifern’s favourite summer sports with many junior and senior teams competing in various levels of competition across our region

Fassifern Cricket Association was founded before the Federation in 1900 and had kept our identity ever since. In recent years we have combined with the Junior Assotioh so there is only one governing body for cricket in the region.

Currently, we are competing in the Cricket Ipswich competition as the Fassifent Bushrangers with teams in the Junior and Senior competitions.

Our home ground is Coronation Park, Boonah and this is the premier sporting facility on the western side of the Scenic Rim. We have two turf wickets and a synthetic wicket, along with one of the best practice nets outside the Brisbane metropolitan area.

Participation is our main objective as a grassroots community club. Our aims are to hold and continue to hold teams in boys and girls cricket as cricket is one of the greats game for inclusiveness and with so many great sportsmen and women that have come out of our region it is vital to give our future athletes, umpires, coaches, volunteer this opportunity.
